Careful conservation work can be considered to preserve mature, veteran and protected trees.
Mature and veteran trees are irreplaceable assets. When a valuable tree shows signs of ill health or structural weakness, we can consider conservation techniques to extend its safe, useful life.
We install flexible bracing systems to support heavy limbs and reduce the risk of failure, without the need for heavy-handed pruning. We also carry out sensitive conservation pruning on ancient and protected trees.
We would seek to preserve as much of the tree as possible, also assessing risk and safety if it is located in a public place or near to roads or footpaths.
